Why I'm Obsessed with Air Fryer Liners (and You Will Be Too)
Tired of scrubbing your air fryer after every meal? Discover the game-changing secret of air fryer liners and say goodbye to messy cleanup forever!

My air fryer is easily one of my most-used kitchen appliances – I’ve even written about it! Its versatility is amazing, reheating food to crispy perfection, almost like an oven but better. Until recently, there were a few foods I avoided cooking in it, especially raw meat.
That’s all changed thanks to my discovery of air fryer liners. These liners, available in various materials like silicone and parchment paper, aren't exactly new, but I always assumed they'd hinder the air fryer's performance. I couldn't have been more wrong.

Far from being a hindrance, they actually enhance the air fryer experience! The biggest benefit? Easy cleanup. These liners catch all the grease and mess, making cleanup a breeze. I can cook even the messiest dishes in the liner, and afterward, it's just a matter of tossing the liner and giving the basket a quick wash.
Take pork chops, for example. The other night, I was feeling particularly lazy and didn't want to deal with the mess of cooking them in the oven or on the stovetop. Since I'd been experimenting with liners, I decided to give it a try. I placed a liner in the air fryer basket, seasoned the pork chops, and put them in. Ten minutes later, I checked the temperature, flipped them, and cooked them for another four minutes. The result? Perfectly cooked pork chops – juicy on the inside with a crispy exterior, even better than if I’d used the oven.
This success inspired me to try other meats: pork tenderloins, chicken breasts, even steak. The air fryer handled them all flawlessly. Cleanup was a snap – just remove the grease-soaked liner, and a quick scrub of the basket was all it took. No other dishes, no mess!
There's one small trade-off. Liners can slightly impede airflow from the bottom, so for dishes where maximum crispiness is crucial, you might want to skip the liner. However, I've found that most foods still get plenty crispy with the liner in place.
I’m excited to continue experimenting with air fryer recipes and my newfound love for liners. Maybe I'll even share some of those recipes here! This little discovery has been a game-changer, especially on those days when I need a quick and easy meal.
